Fan’s Insane Reaction To Doctor Strange (2016)
In 2016 fans were delighted to see Benedict Cumberbatch take up the mantle of Dr. Stephen Strange. Doctor Strange revolves around the origin of the neurosurgeon turned sorcerer, opening in Kathmandu at Kamar-Taj, a fortress for an order of sorcerers sworn to protect the Earth. As Kaecilius and his allies behead a librarian and steal several pages from a text belonging to the Ancient One, a powerful sorceress who has trained students at Kamar-Taj for centuries. After Kaecilius escapes with the pages, the plot shifts to New York City. In New York City, we meet Dr. Strange, in the middle of a surgery, at the top of his field. However, shortly after this a terrible car accident renders his hands useless.
The tragedy surrounding his hands consumes Stephen Strange and sends him on a journey of experimental medical treatments until he comes across a case study. Jonathan Pangborn a paraplegic has regained use of his legs mysteriously. Strange confronts Pangborn and demands he reveals his secrets. During the confrontation, Stephen learns of Kamar-Taj and embarks on a journey across the world in search of the mystic arts used by Pangborn. When Dr. Strange arrives at Kamar-Taj he is told that the impossible is possible, that he can regain the use of his hands. The only question is how far he is willing to go to do so.
