3. Lead Actor Cast For Lindelof Film

Once again the movie side of Star Wars may be ramping up, as the long hiatus since The Rise of Skywalker might end. For a long while now, rumors of a new Star Wars movie have been in the works with Damon Lindelof at the helm. Although nothing has been announced this rumor has gained more and more traction over the last few months. The source primarily comes from Jeff Snider of The Hot Mic but was in an article by Bespin Bulletin, where the co-host of the podcast speculates that perhaps one of the leads of this Lindelof movie will be Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, due to the actor’s connection to Lindelof and fitting the requirements needed for the role. Again nothing has been confirmed or denied, but it does seem more and more steam around this movie is gaining traction as time goes on.

Time will tell if this film gets made, for Star Wars movies seem to be quite volatile at the moment. We haven’t had one since 2019 with The Rise of Skywalker being the last one we have seen on screen. As a wise master once said, “always in motion the future is” and so is the future of Star Wars in theaters.

More and more rumors surrounding the MCU debut of the Fantastic Four come every day, and this one is no different.

According to Comic Book Resources, Lizzie Hill, a reputable scooper, stated that a friend of hers let slip that Dev Patel is being considered for the role of Richards, the leader of the Fantastic Four. Many names have been thrown around over the months for the role, from Krasinsky to Adam Driver. That now seems to focus on Dev Patel, Lion and The Green Knight star.

This rumor is corroborated by another scooper. According to CBR back on February 1st, MSSmods posted a slew of info about upcoming projects and movies on a Marvel subreddit. Included in that was Marvel’s interest in Dev Patel for a lead role in The Fantastic Four

With news of filming to begin early next year, each day brings us closer to reveals as to who has been cast as the superpowered family. And as the weather warms, big-name conventions will be chock-full of opportunities for information to be released.

1. A Sequel For Assassin’s Creed Nexus Could Be In the Works

As fans know, Ubisoft has a few Assassin’s Creed games in development. The next game is titled Assassin’s Creed: Mirage and will follow Basim, who fans first met in Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla. The next installment in the series will release sometime in 2023. However, Insider Gaming has released that one of the games that could possibly be in development is a sequel to the Assassin’s Creed VR Project titled Nexus.

There is not much official information about the new game yet, besides its official announcement. The game was originally supposed to be an Oculus (META) exclusive, however, with recent budget cuts at META, the deal has been terminated. This gives Ubisoft the ability to publish the game on any VR platform it would like. Ubisoft is anticipating Nexus to do extremely well for a VR title, and there are already talks of a sequel being the in the works. It’s still extremely early, but it could eventually be released on various VR platforms. The game is set to release sometime in September 2023, after Assassin’s Creed: Mirage. Sources suggest that it will be officially revealed later this summer, possibly in June. Nexus will be one of 11 titles Ubisoft is set to release in Fiscal year 24, with Nexus being the only VR title. The game will allow you to play past characters from the series such as Ezio, Kassandra, Connor, and Haytham.

Ubisoft isn’t slowing down anytime soon when it comes to the Assassins’ Creed franchise. With both of the games supposedly releasing in 2023, it will be a big year for fans of Assassin’s Creed
