2. Far Cry 7 Is In Development At Ubisoft

The Far Cry series is one of Ubisoft’s most popular series. The previous iterations of games have taken us all over the world. Most recently in Far Cry 6, players were brought to the fictional Caribbean Island of Yara. Your job as the player is to liberate Yara and take down dictator, Anton Castillo (played by Giancarlo Esposito). It hasn’t been long since the sixth installment came out, but a new rumor suggests that Far Cry 7 is already in development.
According to Insider Gaming, two new Far Cry games are in development. One is Far Cry 7, which is a single-player, and multiplayer game. It’s unclear what the games will focus on, but it seems that both games were supposed to be one single game, and were split somewhere along the way. Far Cry 7 is known as Project Blackbird internally, and the multiplayer game is referred to as Project Maverick. Insider Gaming believes that the game will take place in the Alaskan wilderness and is an extraction-based shooter. Mechanics could include permadeath, a backpack system, contracts, and even more.
Far Cry 7 could also take place in the Alaskan wilderness, as they did originally stem from one game. However, both games are a few years away, with a tentative release date of Fall 2025. It’s still widely rumored as to what these games could entail, but they could even include characters from past games. I guess we won’t know until something is officially announced by Ubisoft.

1. Ryan Gosling Rumored To Join The MCU For The Fantastic Four

People are eager for information surrounding the MCU’s reboot of The Fantastic Four, and now there’s a new rumor to add to the pile.
According to insider Jeff Sneider who gave an interview on the Hot Mic podcast, he heard that people have been talking about Ryan Gosling joining the movie. There was no role specified.
Apparently, according to the Direct, Gosling has been rumored to be in consideration for a role in the MCU for some time and even expressed interest in playing Ghost Rider. Ghost Rider would be a solid role for him. It’s a fitting role given his resume. Though, if he joins The Fantastic Four, he would be a good fit for Johnny Storm as well.
For Phase Four of the MCU being wrapped, and so much on the list for the next two, the casting crew have their hands full filling spots for the massive roster ahead. With Secret Wars set to end the phases that followed Endgame, it will be another monumental undertaking with a character roster canonically large enough to possibly overtake Endgame’s achievement.
With the film set to release in November of next year, and the director only recently announced, there’s not a lot of time left before filming starts, and fans will be ravenous to know more as big conventions look to capitalize.
