Warner Bros has recently named Michelle ‘Missy’ Imperato Stablile as the new President of Worldwide Physical Production.  The role covers all Warner Bros movies, including DC films and the Warner Animation Group. ‘Missy’ will also be responsible for digital effects, post-production services and product placement.  Warner Bros Studios has cancelled several projects due to a large debt hanging over the company, it will be hoped that Stablile will be able to ‘right the ship’, She replaces Bill Draper who stepped down from the role in November 2022 to take a position at Netflix.

Stablile has an established pedigree, having worked as President of Physical Production at MGM and also overseeing film production at Orion. She has produced for major studios including 20th Century Fox, Sony Pictures and Summit Entertainment. Her name has been attached to some of the biggest films of the last twenty years, including The Twilight Saga and The Fault In Our Stars. An animal lover, she frequently ignored the adage ‘don’t work with animals or children’. Garfield, Hop Doctor Dolittle 2, and the Alvin and The Chipmunk series, all showed off her talent of managing the hardest casts in Hollywood. She also has a reputation for cost-cutting that Warner Bros will no doubt welcome. It will be interesting to see how she puts her stamp on the company.
