Vincent D'Onofrio Responds To 'Daredevil: Born Again' Behind The Scenes Drama Reports

Speculation about “drama” has had the internet all worked up in the wake of Marvel Studios' decision to scrap the creative team behind the scenes of the highly anticipated Disney+ limited series Daredevil: Born Again. The creative powers initially sought to focus the series on Matt Murdock, attorney, rather than Matt Murdock, the superhero of Hell’s Kitchen. The rework is said to offer more “action and violence.” In keeping with tradition, Marvel Studios has been tightlipped about the plot details. Along with Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio as Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, respectively, the cast will include Jon Bernthal as Punisher, Sandrine Holt, Margarita Levieva, Michael Gandolfini, Nikki M. James, and Michael Gaston. Not much more is known currently.
Fans often hear of reshoots in the television and film industry and equate that to a subpar final product. That is not necessarily true, however, as some of the best projects have undergone massive changes at various stages of production. Vincent D’Onofrio took to social media recently to reassure fans that these changes are expected in the industry and necessary even to ensure that when the final product hits screens, it is something that everyone can enjoy and work that those involved can be proud of.
