Ubisoft Reveals First Story Trailer For 'Star Wars: Outlaws'

Not so long ago, on a website not so far away…a game trailer was released. The game Star Wars Outlaws, due to come out on August 30th for PC, PS 5, and Xbox Series X|S, has been released. The game takes place during the time of the original trilogy, between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return Of The Jedi, during which time one of the galaxy’s most popular outlaw characters was trapped inside carbonite.

The trailer starts with a warlord speaking to his associates about ways they, some of the most powerful underworld figures, can make millions of credits while the Empire is still in power. Characters speaking show the importance of skills including bravery, stealth, intelligence, cunning, and networking, with one character saying it is important to “know the players” in the outer rim to survive. Kay Vess, the game’s protagonist, begins a monologue about how the job she’s going to take is her chance to buy her freedom and the importance of having the right crew and the right ship. The game shows encounters with several Imperial antagonists, as well as the most notorious gangster in the galaxy, Jabba The Hutt.

The game is rated T for Teen.
