This Fall 'Star Wars' Fans Will See More Of Jedha In Phase II Of The High Republic

Three Jedi from the High Republic holding ignited lightsabers

Star Wars has recently expanded further into the medium of books and comics, especially with their High Republic series, which is so far, exclusive to this medium. Phase 1 of this series ended in early 2022, but we finally got our first look at the comic in Phase 2 coming out in October and a look at some other popular Star Wars comics as well.

In Phase 2 of the High Republic series, we are going to see the familiar moon, Jedha. Jedha, is a beacon of faith and spirituality, but tensions are rising in the city, and dark days are on the horizon. This comic, however, is a bit different, as it's set 150 years before the High Republic we were introduced to. Writer Cavan Scott returns and teams up with Ario Anindito for issue #1. Issue #1 introduces a Jedi named Vildar Mac, who embarks on a journey that ends in terror. A new nightmare awaits a nameless terror that will be the stuff of legends.
