The Trailer For 'Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree DLC Has Been Released

With fierce opponents, powerful magic, and heart-racing battles, Bandai Namco’s, Elden Ring is a fan-favorite among Souls-like games. A new adventure awaits players in the Shadow Of The Erdtree DLC, announced earlier this month.
This expansion follows the player to the Land of Shadow, a dark land obscured by the Erdtree where the ruler of the Lands Between, Queen Marika, first set foot. Beckoned by Miquella, the player will discover new dark secrets.
The gameplay trailer released on February 21st featured new enemies, bosses, and locations. Considering the amount of time it took for this DLC to be announced (2 years since the initial release of Elden Ring), the expectation is a full expansion, with new mechanics, weapons, equipment, and magic allowing you to take on the new enemies, bosses and all the lore behind every secret.

This new project maintains FromSoftware’s style every step of the way: many monstrous foes, gigantic beasts, and powerful god-like beings standing in the player’s way. The icon of this expansion (and presumably the main boss) is Messmer the Impaler, who uses a spear and fire magic and is always joined by a serpent. Although little information is available, he resembles previous bosses, such as Radagon of the Golden Order and Ryakard, Lord of Blasphemy, suggesting a lore connection.
Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree launches on June 21st, 2024. So, pick up your weapons and dust off your armor, secrets await, “Touch the withered arm, and travel to the realm of shadow. I will not be far behind”.
