The Second Half Of 'Power Rangers Dino Fury' Season 2 Will Air On Netflix This September

Ladies and gentlemen, Power Week has begun. Guaranteed Power Rangers news every day this week leading to the franchise’s 29th anniversary on August 28, revealing how the franchise will evolve and expand. The biggest Power Rangers convention, Power Morphicon is also this weekend, held in person for the first time since 2018 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as it is held every other year. Right off the bat, Hasbro delivers news many fans had been waiting for.

On Monday, a premiere date for the second half of the second season of Power Rangers Dino Fury, which is the twenty-ninth season overall, was revealed and accompanied by a 30-second trailer. Episodes 12-22 of Dino Fury’s second season will premiere on September 29, 2022, on Netflix in the United States. The first half of the season was released on March 3, and the first season aired on Nickelodeon, where the franchise had spent the previous 10 years, Certain episodes of Dino Fury’s first season premiered on Netflix domestically because of how Nickelodeon would air the show.

Anyway, when the second season left off, Tarrick, primarily known as Void Knight, had been forcibly turned into Void King by Santaura, the Void Queen, his love. He had spent all of the first season trying to revive Santaura with Sporix Beasts before ultimately succeeding, clearly doing so too well. It was a dynamic very Victor and Nora Fries until he succeeded. Tarrick was even seeing how wrong a turn his success had taken before his forced transformation. The Rangers also have to contend with the lingering presence of Lord Zedd, yes, that Lord Zedd. A necromancer named Reaghoul had revived him from his most evil point in Dino Fury’s fourteenth episode.

Showrunner Simon Bennett is very excited for viewers to see these final eleven episodes pay off the storylines and plot threads introduced so far. He promises it’s packed with “twists and turns and moments of heart” that play into the Rangers’ character development over the past two seasons. So far, only two episodes have aired internationally (many of them still through linear networks) that haven’t yet here, and before Netflix started premiering episodes in this or last year’s capacities, as much as the entire remaining 14 episodes (out of 22s) would air before the US hiatus would end. The future of Power Rangers is hopefully bright, and there is much more to learn in the coming days.

Elsewhere, the brand announced a Fan First Event live stream for noon Eastern on Thursday, that the Lightning Collection figure for Kira the Yellow Dino Thunder Ranger was up for preorder, and the one for Koda the Blue Dino Charge Ranger would be available in 2023. A Dino Fury T-Shirt was also unveiled. eOne will have a special Power Rangers Day announcement on Sunday.
