The President Of Hasbro Gaming And WIzards Of The Coast Stepping Down
Cynthia Williams, the esteemed President of Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro, will be concluding her role at the end of this month on April 26th. Hasbro is actively seeking a successor from a pool of both “internal and external candidates,” promising a bright future for the company.
Hasbro said, “We’re excited for Cynthia to take the next step in her career and grateful for the contributions she has made in her more than two years at Wizards and Hasbro. We wish her the absolute best in her next endeavor. We have started the search for our next President of Wizards of the Coast and hope to have a successor in place soon.”

Before joining Hasbro, Cynthia Williams held critical positions at Microsoft, including General Manager and Vice President of the Gaming Ecosystem Commercial Team. Her experience extends to Amazon, where she played a crucial role in the company’s e-commerce direct-to-consumer business.
During her tenure, Cynthia Williams oversaw numerous successes, including Wizard's impressive earnings of over one billion dollars in 2023 and the popularity of releases like Baldur’s Gate 3 and Monopoly Go. However, she also faced some challenges with brands like Dungeons & Dragons and Magic: The Gathering.
Also, Williams oversaw several layoffs at Wizards of the Coast before last year's holiday season.
