The Official Trailer For 'Scream 6' Sees Jenna Ortega Fleeing from Ghost Face Killer

Slasher fans everywhere are in for a treat this upcoming March. The teaser trailer for Scream VI just dropped, revealing familiar faces and a terrifying new location.
Scream VI follows the survivors of the previous installment out of Woodsboro to New York City, hoping to escape the rampage of the killer Ghostface. The trailer sees the return of Melissa Barrera (Sam Carpenter), Jasmin Savoy Brown (Mindy Meeks-Martin), Mason Gooding (Chad Meeks-Martin), and Jenna Ortega (Tara Carpenter) in a crowded subway car on Halloween Night. As the lights flicker overheard, the group realizes that one reveler dressed as Ghostface seems to be getting closer, and they all may not make it to the next stop alive.

Also returning to the cast are Hayden Panettiere (“Kirby Reed”), and Courteney Cox (“Gale Weathers”) with newcomers Jack Champion, Henry Czerny, Liana Liberato, Dermot Mulroney, Devyn Nekoda, Tony Revolori, Josh Segarra, and Samara Weaving. Neve Campbell, star of the previous Scream installments, was noticeably absent, she intimated in June that she would not return to the franchise due to an offer that did not adequately equate her worth.
The sequel is already drumming up anticipation with the bold move to bring the franchise to New York City. As the trailer warns, “In a city of millions, no one hears you scream.”
Scream VI opens in theaters on March 10, 2023.
