The Newest Season Of Epic Games’ 'Fortnite' Will Feature Several Characters From The 'Dragon Ball' Franchise

After teasing the event a few days ago, with this Dragon Ball event, Epic Games is finally bringing one of the most popular franchises of all time in the manga industry into his hugely popular game. In a collaboration with Toei Animation, from the original work of Akira Toriyama, Fortnite is adding to its universe four new playable characters, items, locations, and new quests.

After Thanos, Darth Vader, and Doctor Strange, it’s time for Goku and his friends to make their way into Epic Games’ star game. Four new Dragon Ball-themed skins and their variants will be available in the in-game store including Goku, Vegeta, Bulma, and Beerus. Along with that, Epic is also adding new items, gliders, and emotes such as The Charging Up emote and the Nimbus Cloud glider.

Like previous major events in the game, this Dragon Ball event comes with several changes occurring within the core of the game. First, on the island, players will be able to wield the power of Goku thanks to the legendary Kamehameha item and will be able to visit Bulma in the Kame House, receiving an item if they interact with her. Epic also added a Versus Board on the island for those who like a challenge within the challenge that winning a victory royal already is. In their menus, Epic added a new ‘Dragon Ball: Power Unleashed’ tab that will help you track your progress as you complete the Dragon Ball-themed quests and collect the seven Dragon Balls. Finally, Epic also added maps where you can watch Dragon Ball Super episodes and is planning on adding the new ‘Tournament of Power’ (August 18th) and the new Dragon Ball Adventure Island mode (August 19th).
