The New 'X-Men' Film Will Be Called 'The Mutants'
Fans have been hungry for a canon Marvel Cinematic Universe inclusion of X-Men for quite some time, and it looks like Marvel Studio’s Kevin Feige is indeed listening. Diehard fans were overjoyed to see Patrick Stewart in the recent Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness film, reprising his role as Charles Xavier and in his iconic suit and yellow scooter to boot as a throwback to the animated show from the 1990s.
Speculation is swirling all over the internet about which mutants might be seen in a feature film. A film simply titled Mutants is a creative way to reintroduce the beloved concept of the original while possibly tying in characters from other MCU projects. Such examples could include Kamala from Ms. Marvel for instance as the season finale opens the door for the word itself along with the knowledge of the causal link between Kamala’s genetic mutation and her ancestral bangle. Other rumors could include the possibility of character crossovers from the upcoming Ironheart as well as even including Deadpool as we have learned recently the movies are expected to be one of the first rated “R” films on the Disney+ platform.
