The Fourth Installment In 'The Witcher' Series Is In Full Production
There is a new trilogy of The Witcher video games in production with CD Projekt Red, though there is not a release date yet. Most sources are referring to it as The Witcher 4, and the studio nicknamed it Project Polaris, but the studio is likely going with another name that differentiates it from the first three games. CD Projekt Red is working with Unreal Engine 5 for the new production.
The other bit of news is that the game does not appear to be focused on the protagonist of the first three installments (and the show), Geralt, originally voiced by Doug Cockle. Cockle commented that Geralt is in the newest game, but “we just don’t know how much and the game won’t focus on Geralt.”

CD Projekt Red is hoping to release the entire trilogy, following Polaris, over a six-year period.
