The First Trailer For The 'John Wick' Spinoff 'Ballerina' Has Been Released

Over the years, the John Wick franchise has expanded past the four movies. Recently, a show about the Continental Hotel, which is an essential part of the movies, called The Continental released on Peacock. The show acted as a prequel to the series and told the story of how the Continental came to be. A spinoff movie, Ballerina, was announced. The movie stars Ana de Armas in the main role. Recently, the first trailer was released, giving fans some insight into what the movie will be about.
The trailer shows us Ana de Armas’s character training to become the best assassin she can be. She eventually makes her way to The Continental Hotel, where we see the familiar face of the late Lance Reddick. She is on a mission of revenge. Even though she is no John Wick, she is a worthy adversary nonetheless. The movie will feature many familiar cast members in the John Wick films such as Ian McShane, the late Lance Reddick, Anjelica Houston, and even Keanu Reeves reprising his role as John Wick. The movie will also introduce a new character, played by Norman Reedus.
The movie has no release date yet, but we should expect it sometime next year.
