‘Star Wars Outlaws’ Story Trailer And Released Date Announced!

The story trailer for Star Wars Outlaws premiered today!
Described by Ubisoft as “the story trailer world premiere,” the release will likely follow the storylines set out by the first (?) world premiere trailer rollout in 2023. Star Wars Outlaws takes us through the story of scoundrel and freighter owner Kay Vess, who will find herself in a familiar Star Wars pattern as she is caught up in the war between the Empire and the Rebellion. While one might assume that the story will be somewhat derivative, as many of the elements of this series have been, the April 9th release will likely offer more clarity about the details of Kay Vess’s story.
Star Wars Outlaws covers the adventures of both Kay Vess and Nix, a companion of Kay’s. The open-world spinoff occurs in the year-long span between The Empire Strikes Back and Return oif the Jedi. There's also several species on display in the trailer. Not just humans and droids, it's filled with Twi'lek, Mon Calamari, Gamorrean, Weequay, Sullustan, and many more. Star Wars Outlaws is set to be released on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S platforms on August 30th, 2024.
