To The Journey: Looking back at Star Trek: Voyager is almost done, much to the excitement of Star Trek fans. It raised $1.2 million in a crowdfunding effort back in 2021 and is one of the most anticipated documentaries in the history of the franchise. Made by the same team that produced What We Left Behind about Deep Space Nine back in 2018, this doc has been filming for a few years now, with plenty of interviews being on the record.

Joseph Kornbrodt, the producer and editor of the doc said he expects to have “picture lock” by next week in an update for those who backed the project. By this, he meant that the crew would be turning their focus to the post-production aspect of the doc, including the composing of the score, and adding in graphics. The film is set to be finished by October. It is due to come out on Blu-ray in the Spring of 2025.
