Kevin Feige Confirms That Nova Will Be Joining The MCU
Face the front true believers, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is about to expand! After being reported on two years ago the Marvel superhero Nova has been confirmed by Kevin Feige. The Richard Rider Nova is coming, as revealed in an interview with ComicBook.com. The project in development is a television series, likely meant for Disney+. Fiege also clarified that the project is three or four years away, so don’t expect Rider too soon. That being said, Nova appears to have been passed around for quite some time at Marvel Studios, so, likely, this project isn’t entirely new.
The MCU has been exploring the cosmic side of things for several years, with the Nova Corps making a major appearance in Guardians of the Galaxy. However, Nova has been absent from the MCU for most of its existence, with little discussion about where he could fit in. As stated before, that is about to change. With Nova entering the MCU, a new state of the Cosmic side of the Universe could be beginning. We don’t know what will happen next, but we’ll be on the lookout for further Marvel information in the future, and pass it on to you.
