Netflix is giving streamers a Halloween as the animated hit Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse premieres on the platform. The film is a sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse where Miles Morales learns how to use his spider powers from an alternate dimension Peter Parker and Spider-Gwen. The sequel ups the ante with multiversal threats and adventure as Miguel O’Hara tries to convince Miles to let canon events happen. Much of the story focuses on Miles fighting destiny and ends on a cliffhanger. The story will continue in Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, which was originally scheduled for March 2024, but had to move back due to the SAG-AFTRA strikes.

Those willing to spend a little extra money to rent the first film can watch a Halloween double feature about Miles Morales while they wait for trick-or-treaters to arrive at the door. Disney+ also holds plenty of Spider-Man content with a chance to see all three live-action Spider-Men in action as well as the animated shows from 1981, 1984, 1999, 2003, 2008, 2012, and 2017. Why not celebrate Halloween with a Spidey theme as you watch your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man in your favorite movies or shows? Across the Spider-Verse will be available for streaming on October 31 on Netflix in the U.S. region only.
