Sony Released The Official Trailer For 'Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse' And Fans Should Be Excited
Sony Pictures released the first official trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, which comes to theatres on June 2, 2023. This follow-up to the Oscar-winning 2018 film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, stars Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfield, Jake Johnson, Issa Rae, Jason Schwartzman, and Oscar Isaac, amongst many others.
The trailer opens with Miles speaking with his mother, who is concerned Miles is growing up too quickly. There are flashbacks to the first film, but it shows viewers where the last movie ended; Gwen Stacy asks if Miles wants to “get out of here.” The two travel through the multiverse and understand they are a part of a larger group of “Spider-People.” However, our heroes encounter a new threat, leading Miles and Gwen to battle for the multiverse.

Eagle-eyed fans will notice several notable characters within the trailer, such as a Spider-Man from 2018’s PlayStation game, Bombastic Bag Man, and Spider-Man Unlimited.
Shameik Moore and Hailee Steinfield return to voice the roles of Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy alongside Jake Johnson, and Oscar Isaac steps into the role of Miguel O’Hara, aka Spider-Man 2099. Issa Rae will portray Jessica Drew, aka Spider-Woman.
Spider-Man: Across the Universe releases in theatres on June 2, 2023. Its sequel, Spider-Man: Beyond the Universe, is slated for release on March 29, 2024.
