The Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi series is a 3D arena fighter game based on the Dragon Ball franchise known for its extensive roster. Its latest release, Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 in 2007, boasts 161 playable characters, the most in almost any fighting game. In addition, Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 covered Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, and several of the films and television specials from the franchise. Though it is clear that Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 4 will be covering at least up to Dragon Ball Super, it is unknown just how much the ground the game will cover in terms of its roster, perhaps even beating its predecessor’s record.
No release date has been given as of yet, but the excitement is real for this long-awaited title! You could even say…the level of excitement is over 9,000!
