Sarah Michelle Gellar Remembers Pedro Pascal During His Time on 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer'
Before Pedro Pascal became the father figure, we all know him as now in roles such as Joel on The Last of Us and Din Djarin on The Mandalorian, he guest starred in one episode opposite our favorite vampire slayer back in the day. Pascal’s character met an unkind end as fans only get to see him in the one episode as a fellow newbie to college named Eddie on the hit fantasy drama series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
While brief his portrayal was nothing short of endearing with clear chemistry with Sarah Michelle Gellar. Gellar is no stranger to the world of science fiction as she has returned to the small screen, only this time she prefers her fanged mythical beasts to be furry as fans can see in her new series Wolf Pack, which is streaming by the way exclusively on Paramount+.

Gellar brought on all the nostalgic feels when she posted a sweet picture of her and Pascal from the episode titled “The Freshman” on her Instagram account with the simple caption that read “When #Mother met #Father.”
Ash Crossan caught up with Pedro at the LA premiere of The Mandalorian and asked him if he had seen Sarah’s Instagram post. The actor was surprised to learn of it as he does not spend much time on social media and had not actually seen or heard about the post yet. Crossan took the time to show it to him on her phone. Awe, did his cheeks flush a bit there? Pascal was genuinely elated that Geller remembered him and when asked about his time on the set he shared that Sarah was “incredibly kind.” He told ET that he remembers everything from the shoot – from the vampire makeup to the night shooting on the UCLA campus with Sarah. He said that Gellar taught him how to use a sandbag to hit his mark and recalled how she went all the way to her trailer to get ice cream and brought it back to share with him while they were on a break.
