‘Rick And Morty’ Is Back This Week For The End Of Season 6, And There’s A Trailer To Hype It

November 20 is almost here, which means Rick and Morty’s six-week hiatus following “Juricksic Mort” is about to come to an end. A six-week hiatus following the sixth episode of season six is quite a bunch of sixes. Oh, and a claymation short called “Summer’s Sleepover” was released for Halloween. Adult Swim has released a trailer for the final four episodes.

The “Next Time” teaser primarily consisted of clips of the first six episodes aside from the skeptic Rick amid a Summer pregnancy announcement and then coaching Morty to say, “Next time on Rick and Morty.” However, this trailer is all new scenes and is definitely action-focused, set to Twisted Sister’s “We’re Not Gonna Take It,” and starts with Rick and Morty bursting out of some alien jock that they hang onto midflight in a different scene. Rick even willingly goes to the family’s therapist Dr. Wong at least once, bursting in and shrinking Mr. Goldenfold on one of the visits. Morty uses a machine gun against octopus-esque aliens in another, and the pair walks through a portal reminiscent of the Narnia-like time one in “Mort Dinner Rick Andre.”

This trailer reveals nothing about the plot or this season’s ramifications, but that’s probably intentional. It’s right in line with most of the next episode promos in the season so far, barely revealing what those episodes are about. Though there’s nothing about SummerBeth, or Jerry in there. Hm. Rick and Morty airs Sundays on Adult Swim, and the season 6 finale is expected to air on December 11.
