Richard Moll, Famous As Two-Face In 'Batman: The Animated Series' Passed Away
“Harvey! No!” A coin toss will never feel the same again. Another Batman villain has been lost. Joining the late, great Arleen Sorkin (Harley Quinn) is Richard Moll, famous for voicing Harvey Dent, who would later be transformed into the villain fans came to know as Two-Face.
According to One Take News’ post on X, the actor lived until the age of 80. In his career, Moll lent his voice to give what could have been a one-sided character unbounded emotional range and heart for a man who was undone, like many of Batman’s foes, by one bad day.

Once a man who vowed to never reveal his anger gain after believing one punch sent a bully to the hospital in his childhood, Moll’s excellent range between portraying Harvey and “Big Bad Harvey” gave Batman viewers a glimpse of what was to come once the acid turned him into the person he repressed. Calculated, angry, with a certain disregard for human life, and tortured.
The coin he once kept for luck became his justification for villainy—“Justice has two sides just like this coin. Innocent or guilty. One side clean, the other side scarred.”
Richard Moll, who had notably portrayed bailiff Bull Shannon on the NBC sitcom Night Court for eight years, will have many fans grieving and missing his appearances as well as voice on television.
In addition to his long-standing roles, Moll made appearances in other classic shows such as Mork & Mindy, Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, and Freakazoid! The powerhouse is reported to have passed away in his home in Big Bear, California.
