Rachel Brosnahan Talks A Little About Her Role In 'Superman: Legacy'

The Golden Globes is always a heralded event in Hollywood, and for fans eager for stars to break their silence on upcoming films, such as James Gunn’s Superman: Legacy, the film’s star Rachel Brosnahan did not disappoint.
Brosnahan will be the new embodiment of Lois Lane for DC Studios. The actress teased her role Sunday night, saying to Extra, “We’ve been having a lot of great conversations, David (Correnswet) and I, with James Gunn, the director.” She continued, “We’ve been talking a lot about where this project fits into the canon of the Supermans that we know. So hopefully, this’ll be…we’ll be putting our own stamp on things.”

In the past, co-CEO of DC Studios and the film’s writer and director James Gunn has assured fans that Superman: Legacy will not be an origin story. Instead, the film will handle how Clark Kent handles his Kryptonian lineage alongside his humble upbringing in Smallville, Kansas.
Superman: Legacy is set to release on July 11, 2025. Other cast members include David Corenswet as Clark Kent, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, and Gabriela de Faria as The Engineer. Other members are Sara Sampaio, Sean Gunn, Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, Isabel Merced, Nathan Fillion, and Skyer Gisondo.
