Pedro Pascal Talks ‘The Last Of Us’ With Jimmy Fallon and Teases Season 3 Of ‘The Mandalorian’
Following the enormous success of the first three episodes of The Last of Us, Pedro Pascal made an appearance on Jimmy Fallon to discuss that show and the upcoming season of his other hit series, The Mandalorian. The interview focused on his career, his upcoming appearance on Saturday Night Live, and several other topics.
The interview spends time touching on the upcoming Disney+ premiere of The Mandalorian season 3 on March 1st. Pascal takes great care not to spoil anything too important about the show, but does reveal that season 3 will feature more Mandalorians and will likely feature several battle scenes. He also jokes that Grogu was still in negotiations with Disney over his contract.

Pascal also touches on how he got the role of Joel Miller in the HBO hit series The Last of Us. Pascal tells Fallon that he really liked Craig Mazin’s work on the HBO mini-series Chernobyl, and was excited to speak with Mazin after reading the script for the first episode of The Last of Us. Pascal also indicates that he was so excited about the possibility of being cast in The Last of Us that he did not remember being offered the job over the phone.
Jimmy Fallon then goes on to point out all of the success that Pedro Pascal has had over the last decade with appearances on Game of Thrones, Narcos, The Mandalorian, and now The Last of Us. Fallon tells Pascal that he has never seen a career like this and remarks that all of these appearances have been “no doubt home runs.”
The Mandalorian season 3 premieres on Disney+ on March 1st and new episodes of The Last of Us premiere on Sundays on HBO or HBO Max.
