The E3 convention is back! This announcement from the Entertainment Software Association surfaced today, July 7, 2022. The E3 convention will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center in the second week of June 2023. The convention will be organized with ReedPop. ReedPop also manages PAX, EGX, Star Wars Celebration, New York Comic-Con, and various other pop culture media conventions. They also manage GamesIndustry.biz.

ReedPop president Lance Fensterman commented,

“It is a tremendous honor and privilege for ReedPop to take on the responsibility of bringing E3 back in 2023. With the support of the ESA, we’re going to build a world-class event to serve the global gaming industry in new and broader ways than we already do at ReedPop through our portfolio of world leading events and websites.”

The event will showcase digital platforms as well as in-person gadgets that will be available to consumers. There is not much more information on the event as of now. It is still about one year away. Later this year, the media registration will open. It is much more streamlined than last time, with added security measures for consumer protection. More information about the exhibitors and scheduled events will be provided as the summer progresses. There will also be information for out-of-town travelers regarding hotels and travel guides.
