Oscar Isaac Confirms He's In Talks With Marvel Over The Future Of 'Moon Knight'
Fans of Moon Knight have new cause for hope that they will soon see the return of their favorite caped crusader. Oscar Isaac recently teased to Comicbook.com that he is in talks with Marvel Studios about the future of Moon Knight.
Isaac first appeared as the titular superhero in the Disney+ series Moon Knight, which premiered this past March. He portrayed both Marc Spector, a vigilante with dissociative identity disorder, and his alter Stephen Grant. Isaac received high praise for his moving and empathetic portrayal of both characters.

Fans of the series began speculating about the future of the show when Isaac appeared in a Tik Tok video with Moon Knight director Mohammad Diab in August. When asked if the series was filming a second season, Isaac responded, “why else would we be in Cairo?”
While there has been no official announcement for a second season, Isaac revealed during press for his upcoming graphic novel Head Wounds: Sparrow that discussions with Marvel about future Moon Knight projects have been “pleasant”. “The spilling of the details is that there's no details,” the actor confessed. “We don't know [if there will be a second season], but we're talking about it."
Whether Moon Knight is returning for his own show or a larger superhero team-up is unclear. Isaac expressed his excitement for either outcome, saying, “Whether that's in a group thing or maybe a great idea comes around for a season two or if it's a standalone film or whatever it could be. I think it's just approaching it in that kind of way. It's the story first."
Moon Knight is available to stream exclusively on Disney+
