For years LEGO has been combining their iconic system of play with fun franchises and things everyone enjoys. From Star Wars to Marvel, to simple police and firefighter sets. Beyond that, LEGO has changed the way they do movies to incorporate all these different franchises to make fun movies such as the LEGO Batman Movie and even the simple LEGO Movie. Now added to these collaborations are LEGO Animal Crossing sets!

While there are not a lot of details regarding the new collaboration, Nintendo’s X page posted the below tweet with the trailer to announce this! In this trailer, you have fun Animal Crossing characters Kapp’n, Tom Nook, Shih Tzu Isabelle along with Rosie the cat and Bunnie the (you guessed it) rabbit! With the trailer that Nintendo shared we can safely assume that the Animal Crossing collaboration will include these characters and the trees and flowers that appear with them.

According to Kotaku, in August, a few leaks were suggesting that Nintendo would work with LEGO to make the Animal Crossing sets a reality ranging from $15 (170 pieces) to $75 (535 pieces) although we cannot be 100% sure of the reality of these claims. But for fans of Animal Crossing this should be another fun addition to a diverse LEGO collection!
