New Trailer For ‘History Of The World Part II’ Is Released
Comedy fans will be excited this upcoming March 6th to see the two-episode premiere of the long-awaited Mel Brooks sequel, History of the World Part II, which is streaming exclusively on Hulu for the U.S.A. However, audiences from Australia, New Zealand, and Canada will be able to view the series on Disney+.
The eight-episode series will be airing in daily duo uploads starting the day after its’ premiere date until it is concluded on March 9th. Deadline’s fellow writer quoted Brooks saying in a statement “I can’t wait to once more tell the real truth about all the phony baloney stories the world has been conned into believing are history!”

The series is written and produced by Mel Brooks and David Stassen, with the help of co-producers: Isaac “Ike” Barinholtz, Nick Kroll, Erin Owns, Kevin Salter, Christie Smith, and Wanda Sykes. In comparison to History of the World Part I which had cast 136 people, Part II has cast 49 people so far including some immediately recognizable names such as Jack Black, Jackass’ Johnny Knoxville, Danny DeVito, Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s “Adrian” Jason Mantzoukas and “Charles” Joe Lo Truglio, Disneys’ favorite side kick Josh Gad, SNLs’ Fred Armisen, and Seth Rogen in his new role as Noah, the savior of mans’ canine best friend.
Many will notice the trailer’s content theme is technically different from the original Part II mock-up trailer Brooks made and slid right into the end of Part I just before the ending credits, but that would be due to the space-age technology dream of the past that’s made it much easier for us to dig up and learn more in-depth things about the world’s past people might not have wanted to know.
Fans that suddenly want an immediate taste of Mel Brooks’ comedy should look to his older works on Amazon or DVD shelves for History of the World Part I, Blazing Saddles, Spaceballs, Robinhood: Men in Tights, and Young Frankenstein. You can also find the last two films listed on HBO Max and Hulu.
