Things have been mostly quiet on the Dragon Ball Daima front. Promotion for the late Akira Toriyama’s last work in the Dragon Ball franchise has not been promoted as much as some may like. However, this has certainly changed, as a new trailer for the series has been released. The trailer features new looks at Goku and friends as they go on a grand adventure after being turned into children. In addition, the trailer also shows off some mysterious new characters, including the Masked Majin and others whose names have yet to be revealed. The trailer showcases the various locales that Goku and company will traverse during their journey.

Dragon Ball Daima is the last Dragon Ball project the late Akira Toriyama was involved in before his passing. He was even more involved in its production than in other anime properties, creating both its story and character designs. It features Goku and his friends being transformed into children by some mysterious force who seems to be always watching. No streaming or broadcast partner has been announced yet, but some have speculated that it will stream on Crunchyroll and perhaps broadcast on Adult Swim’s Toonami block. Dragon Ball Daima is set to premiere on Fuji TV in October of this year.
