New Images Of The Upcoming Batman Animated Series 'Batman: Caped Crusader' Have Been Released

He is vengeance, he is the night, he is Batman, and he is back in an upcoming animated series for Prime Video, Batman: Caped Crusader.

Featuring the expertise of J.J. Abrams, Matt Reeves, and Bruce Timm, Caped Crusader take place in the 1940’s and this the official synopsis: “Welcome to Gotham City, where the corrupt outnumber the good, criminals run rampant and law-abiding citizens live in a constant state of fear. Forged in the fire of tragedy, wealthy socialite Bruce Wayne becomes something both more and less than human — the BATMAN. His one-man crusade for justice attracts unexpected allies within the GCPD and City Hall, but his heroic actions spawn deadly, unforeseen ramifications.”

There have been several images unveiled for Batman: Caped Crusader. These images show off the designs for several of the show’s characters, including Batman, Bruce Wayne, Catwoman, Harley Quinn, Jim Gordon, and Clayface. These characters are being reimagined for the series; Harley Quinn in particular has been given a drastic redesign.

No news on casting has come out as of yet. Caped Crusader, all 10 episodes of it, will launch on Prime Video on August 1st. Until then, try and be careful of which alleyway you find yourself in at night.
