New Book, 'Art Of Masters Of The Universe’, Coming From Dark Horse And Mattel

Back in 2021, Dark Horse Books and Mattel teamed up to release The Art of Masters of the Universe, which showed a behind-the-scenes look at Netflix’s animated He-Man series. Now, the companies are continuing their partnership with a new book The Art of Masters of the Universe: Origins and Masterverse.
The writer Alex Irvine, who previously worked on The Comic Book Story of Baseball and Marvel Phase One through Phase Three, will provide an in-depth look at the characters and their background as well as explore the series' lore. The book features 192 pages with detailed artwork of the Mattel figures with descriptions of each character. Creators of the figures will offer fresh insights throughout the course of the park.

Fans have a choice between the Standard Edition of the book and a Deluxe Edition. The Deluxe Edition will come with an artwork portfolio and two lithograph prints along with the art book in a hardcover slipcase. Both the Standard and the Deluxe Editions of The Art of Masters of the Universe: Origins and Masterverse will be released in bookstores on December 5, 2023, in bookstores and December 6, 2023, in comic shops.
