Netflix Has Released A Teaser Trailer For Season 2 Of 'Arcane'
Netflix shared a short teaser for its upcoming season 2 of Riot Games’ Arcane. The trailer shows Singed receiving blood transfusions and checking his pocket watch while a beast appears above him at the end of the clip. Fans were quick to connect the beast to League of Legends werewolf Warwick. Singed is responsible for creating the drug Shimmer, which plays an integral role in the show. Some have theorized that Vander, a character who meets his end in the first season, is the true identity of Warwick. The League of Legends games emphasized the similarities between the two characters’ storylines and with Warwick’s appearance in the trailer, many fans took this as proof that the characters are connected.
The first season of Arcane tells the story of sisters Vi and Jinx who, due to misunderstandings soon find themselves on opposite sides of the wider conflict between Piltover, a utopian city, and Zaun, an underground city dealing with oppressive forces. The only details revealed by the showrunners are that Hailee Steinfield, Ella Purnell, and Katie Leung will return to the series to voice the characters of Vi, Jinx, and Caitlyn Kiramman respectively. Arcane Season 2 will premiere on Netflix in November 2024.
