As Ahsoka continues to set itself up as a live-action season 5 of Rebels, we get a peek into the mind of one of the original Ghost crew, who is expected to play a large role in the upcoming series. Rebels ended with Ahsoka Tano reaching out to Mandalorian Sabine Wren to go and rescue Ezra Bridger, who was taken away with Grand Admiral Thrawn with the Purrgil, which are also known to fans as “space whales”.

Natasha Liu Bordizzo, who will be playing Sabine in the upcoming Ahsoka show spoke about her character’s current mindset. "She's been through a lot and she's still a stubborn cookie," she said. "But I think that you find her at the end of Rebels, she was a huge part of the liberation of Lothal and many regard her as this hero, but she so does not feel that way about herself. She's only thinking about the obligation she has toward her friend. She's got that mission in mind, not her hero status. And she has got a huge journey to go on with Ahsoka, so we find her at the start of that."

Ahsoka will be released to Disney+. It will comprise of 8 episodes, the first of which will be released in August 2023.
