Ming-Na Wen, Star Of 'The Book Of Boba Fett' To Receive Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame
On May 30, 2023, Hollywood star Ming-Na Wen will be the 2757th person to have a star dedicated to them on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The EMCEE of the event will be Steve Nissen and will be exclusively lives streamed on walkoffame.com
During her career, Wen has played a wide range of roles and has had an iconic career. While in New York City she was the first Asian American to have a contract role in a daytime drama, As the World Turns as Lien Hughes. She would then go on to work along the likes of George Clooney and Linda Cardellini, in the Emmy-Award Winning Series ER. Wen is also well known for her work as Mulan in various Disney properties. In 2019, Wen was named a DISNEY LEGEND for her work on Mulan as well as in Marvel’s Agents of Shield.
Most recently Wen has appeared in both The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett as Fennec Shand. The mercenary assassin has become a fan-favorite among audiences and the two shows combined have gotten a total of 43 Emmy nominations and 18 Emmy wins.
