Michelle Rejwan Steps Down From Senior VP At Lucasfilm After 3 Years For A Better Offer

Senior Vice President of Live Action Development and Production, Michelle Rejwan, steps down from the role to return to a full-time producer role.

Having been working in the SVP role since The Rise of Skywalker’s release in 2019, Rejwan has served as executive producer for both Obi-Wan Kenobi and Andor as part of her role. Through the signing of a new deal with both Walt Disney Studios and Lucasfilm, she will move to a full-time producer role, where she will continue to serve as executive producer for both Andor and the upcoming Lucasfilm series Willow.

Continuing to be based out of the Lucasfilm office, Rejwan will work on the development of new projects for both studios. Along with those previously mentioned, she has also been attached as a producer on various feature projects, including the Star Wars film under Taika Waititi.

Before her role as Senior VP, Rejwan had been co-producer on Star Wars: The Force Awakens, with her first roles being at JJ Abrams’ Bad Robot company, where she served as an assistant to him before becoming first associate producer on Super 8 in 2011, then co-producer for Star Trek Into Darkness, then co-executive producer on Star Trek: Secrets of the Universe.
