Meet The Dwarves From Disney's Live-Action 'Snow White'

Well, looks like they’re trying something new.
When photos dropped of the “dwarves” from the latest Disney Snow White film, people were pretty irritated, to the point where there was a lot of speculation that the images we were getting were fake. They looked too ridiculous to be real. Now thanks in large part to the recent strikes in the industry, we’re getting a major shakeup. Instead of the initial release date of March 22nd, 2024, the film will now see a release date of March 21st, 2025, and on top of the date change, we’re getting large changes to most of the titular characters.
Instead of the oddball collection that they showed previously, now the dwarves will all be entirely CGI and… not very good-looking CGI at that. They almost look like they tried to make the Snow White dwarves from Shrek into “live action.” To be fair to Disney, they have been in a “no win” situation with the whole dwarves thing. Actor Peter Dinklage has vocally slammed the story for his perception of its portrayal of people with dwarfism, while others cry back that changing the characters takes acting jobs away from people with dwarfism. Disney has now tried to find the middle ground by making nobody happy, it seems.
We’ll find out how well this all works come March of 2025. It wouldn’t be surprising to see more changes between now and then.
