Matthew Perry, Best Known For His Role As Chandler Bing, Passes Away At 54

Actor Matthew Perry, best known for his role in ‘Friends’, has passed away unexpectedly at 54 years of age. Perry began his acting career at age 15 when he moved from Ottawa, Canada to Los Angeles. He attended The Buckley School in Sherman Oaks while also performing improv comedy at the LA Connection. After his graduation he took a role on ‘Second Chance’ where he played the role of Chazz Russell, 13 episodes later the show became ‘Boys Will Be Boys’ and focused heavily on Perry’s Character Chazz.

In 1994 Matthew Perry auditioned for a pilot called ‘Six Plus One’ which would become the hit sitcom ‘Friends’ rocketing Matthew Perry to international stardom. For the next decade, Perry would co-star as Chandler Bing, one of the most popular characters on the show leading to an Emmy win in 2002. In 2004 once the show had wrapped Perry made his directorial debut with an episode in the fourth season of ‘Scrubs’ appearing alongside his real father in the episode.

At the current moment, all that is known about his passing is that he was at home and it appears to be a drowning. The LAPD says that no foul play is suspected in his passing.
