Massive RPG Based On Zack Snyder’s 'Rebel Moon' Supposedly In The Works

Zack Snyder has had a busy and successful career. He has created content of all kinds, from music videos to comic book adaptation films. One thing he hasn’t done is produce a video game. That may change according to the man himself.
Snyder appeared on the Nerd Queens podcast (via Polygon), talking about his current projects and endeavors. While he is having a good time in general with what he has going on, he expressed particular enjoyment in developing an RPG game based on the Rebel Moon universe:
“The one thing that I’m having a really good time with – and I don’t really know if I’m supposed to talk about it – is this RPG that we’re doing that is just literally insane, and so immersive and so intense and so huge.”

He also teased the potential size of the game but not much else:
“There’s more coming, but all I’ll say is that it was pitched to me – because I’ve always wanted to do an RPG – like, ‘well, we could do it at this scale, or we could do it at ridiculous scale.”
The exact details aren’t available yet since the project is in the early stages. The movie Rebel Moon is set to hit Netflix on December 22, 2023. It is a space opera about a young woman who tries to save her colony with the help of other planets.
