Marvel Announces 'Captain America: Cold War' Comic Series
With New York Comic Con coming up, lots of genre properties will be reaching out with sneak previews and new announcements to generate some buzz heading into the end of the year. With the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) still basking in the glow of the Deadpool and Wolverine team-up, the folks over at Marvel have announced an exciting cross-over event in the Captain America universe with Captain America: Cold War. The event will bring together both Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson’s Captain America as they collide with both new and old friends and foes plus how their friend the Winter Soldier will be a factor in their own story.
The crossover event will bring together writers Collin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing and artist Carmen Carnero from Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty, and artist R.B Silva from Captain America: Symbol of Truth. Both series also have new exciting issues coming out this January.

Sentinel of Liberty #8 will focus on Captain America and his friends trying to retrace their steps after being thrown across the country. They will enlist the help of telepath Emma Frost to piece together the events.
Symbol of Truth #9 will tell the story of Sam Wilson from inside Dimension Z. Wilson’s Captain America continues his conflict with the White Wolf. With all the troubles in Dimension Z, how will Captain America prioritize and defeat his enemies?
More details will be revealed this Thursday at New York Comic-Con during Captain America: Cold War— A Week In Marvel Special Event. Fans will find more information on the crossover event ahead of the January release.
