Mark Ruffalo Is Not Going To Be In 'Captain America: Brave New World'
It has been confirmed that, contrary to what has been said before, that the Hulk won’t be in Captain America: Brave New World. During a Santa Barbara International Film Festival event and interview, Mark Ruffalo said that he had the movie “next”, and that he couldn’t talk about the movie due to Marvel following him around, implying he would be in the movie. However, inside sources have clarified that Ruffalo was actually talking about the film’s release and that Ruffalo and the Hulk aren’t actually in it. Entertainment Weekly has reached out for further clarification, but no news has been given as to whether or not they have gotten it yet.
Ruffalo first appeared as Bruce Banner and the Hulk in The Avengers, replacing his original MCU actor Edward Norton. Though only the second actor to play the role, Ruffalo would reprise his role throughout the MCU, even returning for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Captain America: Brave New World is set to release on Feb. 14, 2025. By that time, there might be another appearance from The Incredible Hulk, but who knows. All these true believers can do is look out for more information on Culture Slate.com, and see what else we have in store.
