Lucasfilm Drops Trailer And Announces Release Date For 'Star Wars: Tales Of The Jedi' During The D23 Expo
Ahsoka and Count Dooku fans rejoice, Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi will bring you more content involving this pair. As part of the Lucasfilm portion of the D23 Studio Showcase on Saturday, the show’s premiere date was revealed with a new trailer.
Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi will premiere on October 26. The series is comprised of six shorts, so if previous short series like I Am Groot, Dug Days, Scrat Tales, and Cars on the Road are any indication, they will all drop together. Three episodes are set to focus on Count Dooku, and the other three episodes are on Ahsoka Tano. The series was first discovered in December, thanks to an employee’s Christmas gift, before being officially unveiled at Star Wars Celebration in May, where a sneak peek of the first episode was shown. Liam Neeson was confirmed to be back again as Qui-Gon Jinn, who was Dooku’s master in his Jedi days. We’ve got Anakin appearances up in here too!
Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi will be the only Star Wars animation for the fall, as it was confirmed that the second season of The Bad Batch will not be released until January 2023.
