'Kung Fu Panda 4' To Begin Promotion Of March 8 Premiere During Thanksgiving Parade
You wouldn’t know it going to stores like Target here in the United States, but another holiday before Christmas is still there. Thanksgiving is about two weeks out, and with every Thanksgiving, many families include watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Companies often use the parade as a means of advertising, displaying their mascots as massive balloons anchored by teams of volunteers that steer them through the streets of New York.
To continue this tradition, DreamWorks will promote its next animated feature by having Po the Panda in the parade, all to advertise the fourth installment in the Kung Fu Panda series, which will premiere in March.

Jack Black returns to voice the titular character. According to IMDb, this time around, Po is looking to become the leader of the Valley of Peace and will need to train a replacement Dragon Warrior. In addition, a new villain arises, known as the Chameleon, and they have the power to conjure Po’s former villains, gearing him up for the challenge of a lifetime.
The cast includes series veterans Angelina Jolie as Tigress, Seth Rogen as Mantis, Jackie Chan as Monkey, Lucy Liu as Viper, David Cross as Cran, and Dustin Hoffman as Master Shifu. Awkwafina is attached as well, but her character is still unknown. The Direct thinks that a character poster for DreamWorks shows a previously unknown Fox and wonders if that could be her character. It’s also possible that she plays this Chameleon.
Time will tell as the promotion circuit for the movie gets moving this Thanksgiving.
