Kim Page and Warner Bros Discovery have parted ways. Page joined the Internal Communications team led by Nathaniel Brown as Senior Vice President in the summer of 2022. Although Page was only in post for a year, she previously worked at Warner Media and Turner in similar roles.

Warner Bros sold much of its real estate when it merged with Discovery, and according to rumor Page was not willing to relocate. She is due to be replaced by Tammy Shea, who previously oversaw communications at Legacy Discovery, and worked to increase employee engagement at Warner.

Page isn’t the first major casualty of the merger which has seen mass redundancies and layoffs. Big names such as Ollie Green, Vice President of Animation at Adult Swim (and responsible for the successful Rick and Morty) and Caroline Perez, the Vice President of Development and Production at Discovery both found themselves cleaning out their desks. Another big talent, Executive Vice President Amy Introcaso-Davis also walked away from the new Warner Discovery brand.

It remains to be seen if the summer of lay-offs and resignations is at an end at Warner Bros Discovery. It will be interesting to see what effect all this new blood has on their programming.
