'John Wick: Chapter 4' Has Been Dedicated To The Late Lance Reddick

Grief and sadness can barely describe what it feels like to lose someone dear to us. Those feelings invaded Keanu Reeves and Chad Stahelski when they learned about Lance Reddick passing on Friday, March 17.
The protagonist of John Wick 4 and the franchise director talked about how the news impacted them and dedicated the movie to their late friend. "[…] he was the consummate professional and a joy to work with. Our love and prayers are with his wife Stephanie, his children, family, and friends. We dedicate the film to his loving memory. We will miss him dearly."

Lance Reddick portrayed Charon in all four John Wick movies. Reddick passed about a week before the release of the fourth part of the franchise. His death took everyone by surprise: colleagues, friends, and fans paid tribute to the actor in various ways; even online in the game Destiny 2.
Even Lionsgate, the studio responsible for the John Wick franchise stated: "The world of Wick would not be what it is without Lance Reddick and the unparalleled depth he brought to Charon's humanity and unflappable charisma.” The studio continues addressing the remarkable work of Reddick saying: “Lance leaves behind an indelible legacy and hugely impressive body of work, but we will remember him as our lovely, joyful friend and Concierge. We're stunned and heartbroken, and our deepest condolences go to his beloved family and his fans all around the world."

The beautiful words from his colleagues and the gesture Keanu and Chad had only proves what an amazing person Lance Reddick was and how much he meant to those around him.
