Jason Momoa, the star of Aquaman, teased some exciting news after a meeting with DC Studios. In the actor’s Instagram post, he said, “Four years ago, I had the jeep out front… Y’all remember four years ago? I was screaming, wasn’t I? … Screaming when I left Warner Bros. Everybody ready? YAHOO! Four years again. It’s a mystery, baby… I’ve got some really good news. Great news with Warner Bros. Amazing.”

Momoa’s next project is the Aquaman sequel coming to theaters this Christmas. However, the actor’s news implies Momoa has a long future with DC. Momoa finished his social media post, “Wish I could tell you, but here it is. Peter [Safran], I love you, James [Gunn], I love you. David [Zaslav]. Okay. To the future, to the future.”

Some fans have speculated that Momoa will play the role of Lobo, an anti-hero who rose to popularity in the 90s. This theory is based in part on James Gunn sharing a photo of the character after Jason Momoa claimed that DC is making his dreams come true. For his part, Momoa said that he’ll always be Aquaman, but he could play multiple parts, similar to how Ryan Reynolds played both Green Lantern and Deadpool. As DC plans to grow into a more connected cinematic universe, it’s clear that Momoa is a key player. Hopefully, fans won’t have to wait much longer to find out what has the actor so excited.
