The MCU's "Wandaverse" will soon expand when the WandaVision Spin-off Agatha All Along premieres on Disney+ on September 18.

But the further adventures of the evil witch won't be the last chapter of the story dealing with the fallout of Wanda Maximoff becoming the Scarlet Witch, as in early 2025, shooting for the next spin-off show will begin in England. Tentatively titled VisionQuest, the series will deal with Wanda's "widower" Vision finding a new purpose in life after the events of WandaVision and Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness.

The show will be helmed by Terry Matalas, who has previously worked on MacGuyver for CBS and was the showrunner of the second and third seasons of Star Trek: Picard.

Paul Bettany will reprise the role of the android Vision, who first appeared in Avengers: Age of Ultron and who turned into a ghostly white figure at the end of WandaVision.

In the course of the series, he will meet an old enemy from the second Avengers movie: Ultron, and James Spader will be back to voice him once again.

RELATED:

Ultron was a sentient being initially created by Tony Stark to protect mankind. He later turned against his creator as he saw the only way to rescue humanity was by completely destroying it. In executing his plan, he created Vision, but Stark and Bruce Banner were able to upload the remains of the AI J.A.R.V.I.S into Vision.

Vision turned against Urltor, who was destroyed at the end of Age of Ultron, so it remains to be seen if his involvement in VisionQuest comes in the way of flashbacks or visions (no pun intended) or if Ultron actually will return from some other universe or timeline.

Vision was killed by Thanos but then brought back by Wanda through the power of love and grief, only to lose his wife in the events of Multiverse of Madness.

James Spader's acting career dates back to the early 80s when he starred in blockbusters like Pretty in Pink, Mannequin, and Wall Street. The three-time Emmy Award winner has constantly shifted between cinema and TV and is nowadays probably best known for his role as Raymond "Red" Reddington in NBC's The Blacklist.
