James Mangold Speaks Out Against The Rumored Reshoots Of 'Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny'
Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny has had several rumors throughout its production, and director James Mangold has been on the defense against any rumors about the film’s production being bad, or about Indy himself possibly dying and the film’s new protagonist, played by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, taking over. Of course, these things are likely based more on hearsay and deliberate mistruths than anything real, but we’ll know for sure when the movie comes out. Another rumor, sparked by an event where composer John Williams said: “So we have just about completed the film. We have maybe another ending to shoot and record in a couple of weeks,” says that the film is undergoing reshoots due to the rumored leaks, and their negative reception online.
James Marigold has denied this in a tweet. Of course, one should remember that John said maybe, so it could be that a reshoot for the ending was planned, but scrapped… or it could be talking about the music, not an actual ending. Or it could be a mistake on John’s part, we might never know. What we do know is that Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny is almost done filming, so expect more news to follow soon.
