Jameela Jamil Says She Wants To Play A Villain In 'Star Wars'
Jameela Jamil (She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and The Good Place) has expressed interest in joining the Star Wars franchise as a villain. The British actor has said that after having done work in the DC, Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Star Trek franchises, Jamil says that “it feels I should be allowed to do... Star Wars.” Speaking to SFX Magazine, the She-Hulk star joked “I've been referring to it as my nerd EGOT” and that it would be a dream come true for the actor.
EGOT refers to the Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Awards, as a rare accomplishment for entertainers. Jamil has provided voice work on several projects such as DC's Harley Quinn and Star Trek: Prodigy. Other voice roles include Duck Tales, American Dad, and Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous.

Tom Hardy, Ben Mendelsohn, Andy Serkis, and Clancy Brown are a few actors that have played in multiple popular franchises. Clancy Brown probably has the closest to a 'nerd EGOT' having guest starred on the Star Trek: Enterprise episode “Desert Crossing” as well as providing voice work for Savage Oppress in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Lex Luthor in the DC Animated Universe, and Surtur in Thor: Ragnarok.
“Right now we are so divided. We almost seek to misunderstand each other. If we don’t understand each other, we’re never going to be able to find a way back to one another. That’s something that I’m very drawn to, helping people understand people who are different to them. And so I’m into playing the villains,” said Jamil.
Jameela Jamil recently played the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law villain Titania. Just like the Marvel universe, Star Wars has had woman antagonists such as Captain Phasma, Asajj Ventress, Fennec Shand, and Dedra Meero.
